Woman, 40, charged in fatal stabbing of man last February in West Ridge neighborhood

CHICAGO — A 40-year-old woman has been charged in the fatal stabbing of a man last February in the West Ridge neighborhood.

Police said Whitney Wilcox, of Chicago, faces one felony count of first-degree murder.

She was arrested Monday after being identified as the offender who fatally stabbed a 42-year-old man on Feb. 26 in the 6200 block of North Hoyne Avenue.

Wilcox is scheduled to appear at a detention hearing Tuesday.
