BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – It’s time to take one last look at the Hilltopper football team ahead of its upcoming meeting in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, against the MTSU Blue Raiders.
The rivalry is currently in favor of WKU, as it leads 37 -35 in wins all time. In the last ten contests, the Tops have won eight times and heading into this Saturday, they have taken the last five meetings and will look to extend that streak to six.
Despite having the favorable momentum and a historical advantage, the Tops know that this game will still be as competitive as ever before.
“They have a new defensive coordinator, so some things are going to be different, but it’s still definitely one of the games you look forward to every season and you want to win it big,” offensive lineman Marshall Jackson said. “It’s one of your most looked forward to games every season, so it’s a huge deal around here.”
