St. Paddy’s Day is right around the corner. The holiday was initially created to honor St. Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland, whose original name was Pádraig. Originating as a religious feast, festivities now often involve wearing green, parades, drinking alcohol and enjoying good food.
For the Philly area, here are some local events and road closure/transit info to ensure you can take part in exploring the Irish spirit.
