Villa La Massa, located less than 15 minutes from central Florence, nestled in greenery on the banks of the Arno River, is ready to reopen its historic doors with the traditional flag-raising ceremony on April 3.

Easter at Villa La Massa will be a celebration of traditions, hospitality and fine Tuscan cuisine. With the Easter package, guests can fully experience the first festive weekend of spring. The program starts in the morning with Holy Mass in the hotel’s private chapel, followed by an Easter brunch at the Il Verrocchio restaurant. The specially prepared menu promises an explosion of taste and tradition, ending sweetly with the artisanal Colomba cake made with quality ingredients and slowly leavened by Villa La Massa’s very own pastry chefs. The special yeast cake will be available for purchase both at the hotel and online, along with signature hand-decorated chocolate eggs. Live music, an exciting Easter egg hunt and plenty of activities for children at our kids’ club are all part of the celebrations.
Starting on Easter Sunday, Sunday Brunch returns to Villa La Massa, a firm favorite among hotel guests and local customers. Each Sunday is a journey through the authentic flavors of Tuscany as a select buffet furnishes a selection of seasonal local delicacies. From gourmet pizzas to exquisite grilled meats and stellar desserts, brunch at Villa La Massa features live cooking stations to make the experience even more interactive. Guests can even visit the kitchen to select their main course, fully embracing the Villa La Massa brunch style.

Executive Chef Stefano Ballarino continues to oversee the dining with a spotlight on elevated Tuscan cuisine at Il Verrocchio restaurant with river views and relaxed local cooking at the poolside L’Oliveto Bistro. To underline the connection with Villa d’Este, the iconic sister property on Lake Como, the Wine Dinners series will be held for the second consecutive year. These gastronomic excellence experiences bring together icons of winemaking with the refinement of haute cuisine. Check the website for further details.
