A video taken by an eyewitness at Brooklyn Park on Saturday showed locals gathering near a burning house following a small plane that crashed into the roof of a home.
Reuters independently verified the location by matching street layout, architectural details, surrounding buildings and trees to file and satellite imagery, as well as other visuals of the fire. The date was verified through corroborating reports.
Media reports quoting local fire department officials said a man who was in the house at the time of the crash managed to escape unharmed, with another occupant of the house not home at the time of the incident.
