Tyler Breeze has revealed that his career is not over, but his return to the ring is still unknown.
The former NXT Tag Team Champion has been largely retired since being released by the WWE in 2021. He has only wrestled a handful of matches since then, but Tyler Breeze’s wrestling career is not over yet.
Speaking with Monopoly Events, Tyler Breeze was asked about his future in wrestling. He revealed that he’s not retired and that his career will continue. Breeze noted that having a child made him enjoy being a dad and not miss wrestling, but now he will return to the ring when the time is right.
“It’s kind of funny because sometimes I feel very retired, and then other times, I’m like, you know what? I’m not. I’m not really. It’s just a matter of timing for certain things,” Tyler Breeze said. “I stopped wrestling full-time in 2021. I was just kind of enjoying life for a little bit. Then I had my first kid, so I was just enjoying being a dad, being a husband—stuff like that.
“Branching back out, getting in on the indies a little bit… it’s still very much alive. So yeah, I’m not done. I’m not done. Where you’ll see me next? That’s still to be seen. But really, it’s just a matter of time,” added Tyler Breeze.
Tyler Breeze Names Which NXT Team Would Be A ‘Dream Match’ For Breezango
Tyler Breeze and Fandango (now known as JDC) are former NXT Tag Team Champions and at one time were the most popular team in the WWE. Their work as The Fashion Police was hugely entertaining on Smackdown in 2016 and earned them a shot at the Smackdown Tag Team Championships.
They were relegated to NXT in 2018 and went on to defeat Imperium for the NXT Tag Team Championships. The pair were released by the WWE in 2021 but Tyler Breeze wants to face one top NXT team in a dream match.
While speaking with Monopoly Events, Tyler Breeze named an NXT dream match for he and Fandango. The former WWE star named Fraxiom as the duo he’d love to face. He also revealed they’d never done anything with the pair before.
“Dream NXT match for us as a tag team? Realistic for who’s there right now. I mean, Nathan Frazer and Axiom would be a fun one. We never really did anything with them.” Tyler Breeze said.
JDC suggested that The Bloodline would be a dream match for them. Breeze replied, “I mean, obviously… yeah, I would say probably Nathan Frazer and Axiom. I think that’d be a good one.”
