AMITE, La. (WGNO) — Investigators with the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office are searching for a person of interest after two people were found dead in the Amite-area on Thursday, April 3.
According to the TPSO, around 1 p.m., deputies performed a welfare check on an Eastwood Drive home and found a woman, later identified as 66-year-old Priscilla Brocato, within the residence, dead.
At 6:05 p.m. 75-year-old Marc Brocato was also found dead on the property after initially being sought as a potential victim.
One male resident of the home and a vehicle are still reportedly unaccounted for and being sought.
Investigators said 34-year-old Joshua Brocato is a person of interest in the investigation. He stands at 5’9 and weighs around 200 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.
TPSO officials said Joshua Brocato is believed to be traveling in a 2014 Ford utility van, which had a last known location in Lafayette as of earlier in the week.
