Our dry stretch comes to an end very late tonight with an approaching cold front bringing some rain and showers and occasional downpours into tomorrow morning. We actually *do” need the rain as a good portion of our state is abnormally dry. Then some cooler weather greets us mid-week!
We are continuing to watch several systems in the tropics.. including one in the gulf that has been named Hurricane Milton. The NHC latest track continues to show Milton heading towards central Florida with catastrophic conditions the middle of this coming week as a Major Hurricane. We will keep you posted:
Tonight: Clouds build and rain starts late. Lows: mid to upper 50s.
Monday: Morning showers & rain to partial clearing during the afternoon. Highs near 70.
Tuesday: Mostly sunny, breezy & cool with highs 60-65.
Wednesday: Scattered frost possible in northern CT early in the day. Mostly sunny & cool with highs 57-62.
Thursday: Patchy frost possible in northern areas. Mostly sunny with highs in the lower 60s.
Friday: Mostly sunny with highs in the mid 60s.
Saturday: Sunny and milder. Highs in the upper 60s/low 70s.
Sunday: Clouds and sun. Highs in the low 70s.
