The December 6 episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown took over the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This was a big show, and fans also saw movement in the Women’s United States Title Tournament.
Naomi battled Tiffany Stratton and Elektra Lopez in Women’s U.S. Title Tournament first round triple threat match. Stratton was a huge favorite in this match as a Minnesota native, and she also rocked Vikings colors.
In the end, Tiffany Stratton landed her Prettiest Moonsault Ever, and she secured the win. This will move Miss Money in the Bank on to the next round in the tournament.
So far this far in the tournament, during SmackDown on November 15 Bayley won the first triple threat match against Candice LeRae and B-Fab. Then Chelsea Green advanced by beating Bianca Belair and Blair Davenport in another triple threat match. Michin also won her triple threat match against Lash Legend and Piper Niven to move on. The semifinals are set for SmackDown on December 13, 2024, with the final scheduled for Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 14, 2024.
