NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The New Orleans Police Department is investigating three separate shootings that happened over the span of six hours.
The first shooting happened in the Tremé neighborhood on Monday, Nov. 25. Around 10:30 p.m., NOPD officers said they responded to a shooting in the 1700 Block of Laharpe Street where they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to his body.
He was taken to a hospital by EMS.
The second shooting was reported about an hour later at 11:40 p.m. The location is unknown according to NOPD.
They were alerted of the crime after a man arrived at the hospital suffering from a gunshot wound to his body.
Several hours later, around 4:55 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 26, the third shooting was reported in Central City. NOPD officers said a man was shot in the leg at the corner of S. Claiborne and Washington avenues.
The conditions of the victims are unknown at this.
Each shooting is under investigation. The NOPD is in the process of gathering evidence and information to determine a possible suspect and motive.
