A lockdown at Thornton Academy has lifted after the school received a threatening call.
School officials immediately contacted the Saco Police Department and went into lockdown “out of an abundance of caution” after receiving the call at 9 a.m., according to a Facebook post by the school.

Police determined Thornton Academy was safe, and the lockdown was lifted about 15 minutes later.
