Rome holds sixth edition of Tevere Day.
The 2024 edition of Tevere Day, a week-long festival of free events in celebration of Rome’s river Tiber, will take place from 7-13 October.
Now in its sixth year, Tevere Day will comprise more than 100 events for all ages, embracing sport, music, culture and history, spanning the river Tiber from Nazzano to Fiumicino.
The Tevere Day programme includes live music, theatre, yoga and food and wine events as well as rowing, cycling, canoeing and other sporting pursuits.
There is also a series of talks taking place in Rome’s libraries, bookshops and museums dedicated to the history of the Tevere and reclamation projects along the river.
The Tevere Day Association was founded in 2019 to enhance the role of the Tiber and help people to discover the beauty of Rome’s river.
