Taco Bell is set to launch its first-ever “Live Más” café in San Diego County. The café will offer Taco Bell fans “a unique experience to enjoy specialty drinks like Chillers, Agua Frescas, and specialty coffees alongside their favorite menu items,” officials said in a statement Friday.
The fast-food chain collaborated with Diversified Restaurant Group, one of Taco Bell’s largest franchisees, to bring the café to life.
“This café redefines the Taco Bell experience with an innovative beverage lineup and Bellristas, providing exceptional flavor and hospitality in a cozy, inviting atmosphere, all while maintaining the great value customers love,” a news release said.
Visitors will receive free swag and a complimentary first drink on Dec. 9, beginning at 3:30 p.m., to celebrate the Live Más café’s grand opening.
The café is located at 1548 E. H Street in Chula Vista, about 14 miles from the city of San Diego. Live Más café will be open daily from 7 a.m. to 3 a.m. Fans can follow the café on Instagram here.
Taco Bell isn’t the only fast-food chain to open a beverage-forward restaurant concept.
In 2023, McDonald’s opened CosMc’s, a restaurant concept seemingly aiming to attract coffee drinkers and beverage enthusiasts who might otherwise spend their money at Starbucks or Dunkin’.
CosMc’s hasn’t had a nationwide rollout but can be found in Bolingbrook, Illinois and Texas.
