A familiar face returned to TNA Wrestling during Friday night’s tapings in St. Joseph, Missouri, as Ethan Page made a surprise appearance—despite currently being signed to WWE NXT.
Page interrupted Frankie Kazarian, who had just declared his intentions to challenge TNA World Heavyweight Champion Joe Hendry at the upcoming TNA Rebellion pay-per-view. Page revealed that he, too, had secured a title shot, effectively turning the originally planned singles bout into a Triple Threat Match for the championship.
The match is now officially set for TNA Rebellion on April 27, 2025, and marks a major development in TNA’s main event scene.
This surprise return brings Page back to familiar territory. From 2017 to 2021, he was a prominent part of TNA/Impact Wrestling, where he competed both as a singles star and as one half of The North alongside Josh Alexander. The North became two-time Impact World Tag Team Champions and were widely regarded as one of the best teams of their era.
After leaving the company, Page signed with All Elite Wrestling, before later moving to WWE’s NXT brand. His reappearance in TNA raises plenty of questions about cross-promotional flexibility and his current contractual status.
With the addition of Page, the TNA World Title picture just became a lot more unpredictable—and Rebellion promises to be one of the most compelling events of the year.
