(KRON) — The California Highway Patrol (CHP) has issued a Silver Alert for missing 64-year-old Somphan Samreuang. The alert was activated on behalf of the San Leandro Police Department.
CHP said Samreuang was last seen on Friday at approximately 6:35 p.m. in San Leandro, Alameda County. He is believed to be traveling on foot.

Samreuang is described as 5-feet-7-inches tall, weighing 150 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a red beanie, black leather jacket, blue jeans and black shoes.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to call 911.
