WICHITA, Kan. — The Wichita State cheer team is set to host their annual cheer team alumni game on Sunday, December 29, when the Wichita State men’s basketball team hosts Friends University.
Shocker cheer alumni are invited back to Wichita and Koch Arena on December 29 to take part in a special pregame and halftime cheer performance with the current Shocker cheer team and fellow Shocker cheer alums.
In addition to the performance, there will be a meet and greet at Social Tap on the Wichita State campus from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, December 27 and there will be a practice session on Saturday, December 28 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM in the Koch Arena practice gym, with a special reunion to follow.
The registration fee for this event will be $50. Payment can be made via Venmo anytime or by cash, check, or card on the day of the practice session. The fee includes a t-shirt and a ticket to the game. A $30 payment can be made to participate but does not include a t-shirt. Additional tickets to the game can be purchased for $20.
