
In SDSU’s 10th Women’s March Madness appearance, and first since 2012, the Aztecs are gearing up for its matchup Saturday in Baton Rouge against the No. 3 ranked LSU Tigers.
The Aztecs enter the first round of March Madness on an eight-game win streak, while the Tigers lost three of its last four regular season games.
SDSU last played in the first round of the March Madness tournament in 2012, also against the Tigers. SDSU lost 64-56 in that most recent tournament game.
Should SDSU win and advance to the round of 32, the Aztecs would play the winner of Florida State vs. George Mason.
LSU vs. SDSU tips off Saturday at 7:15 p.m. PST at Pete Maravich Assembly Center.
