SANTA FE, N.M. (KRQE) – The City of Santa Fe is issuing a “code blue” for an incoming snowstorm. Code Blue directs departments on operations to prevent injury and death from cold temperatures and severe weather. The city will ramp up outreach efforts to the unhoused and help them find shelter.
Code Blues are activated when the temperature drops below 15 degrees and when there is snowfall over six inches.
