
A woman remains hospitalized after being shot in the abdomen Wednesday night by an unidentified man at a local hotel. Sandy Springs Police are looking for a person of interest.
Officers were dispatched to the Comfort Inn at 5793 Roswell Road at approximately 11:15 p.m. on Oct. 30 about a woman being shot, a Sandy Springs Police Department spokesperson said.
Detectives have identified a person of interest – a black male approximately 5 feet, 10 inches to 6 feet, 2 inches tall, weighing between 160 and 180 pounds. He had a medium-length beard.
The release said at the time of the shooting, the person of interest was wearing a black head covering, an orange/black plaid shirt, black pants with an orange belt, and tan colored boots. He was also wearing eyeglasses, a necklace, a stud nose ring, and a wristwatch.
