BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Volunteers Wanted: Lost River Cave Seeks Habitat Heroes for Earth Week 2023!
Lost River Cave is calling all nature enthusiasts to participate in their Earth Week 2023 volunteer event! This week-long event is a mix of hard work and nature-loving fun.
Participants will help restore the habitat by pulling invasive plants. In between the hard work, you can let loose during Yoga in the Cave. Or join Buggin’ Out to discover creepy critters to wind down your night. Take your pick of fun activities, and celebrate Earth Day with a Native Plant Sale!
All Habitat Heroes will receive a free Cave Boat Tour pass and the first 100 registrants will receive a free Earth Week T-shirt.
Lost River Cave Director of Philanthropy Katie Cielinski said this is also a great opportunity for businesses to participate in team building.
“It’s a great week. We have a lot of fun. We get a lot of people out there, and it’s the best way to do team building. You literally get sweat equity, and work together, and do good. So, it’s a great time,” said Cielinski.
