BROADALBIN, N.Y. (NEWS10) – What do you do after getting some of the worst news of your life? At the Robles household in Broadalbin, you start living life to the fullest.
Born with Down Syndrome, Portia Robles is fighting leukemia. The ten year old was told in August she had two weeks to two months left to live.
“Portia is the most joyful sweetest little girl, she is full of sass, but that keeps her strong,” said her mom.
Multiple organizations have stepped forward to help give Portia once-in-a-lifetime experiences, gifts and events. Here are just a few of the moments from her memory book:
