ST. PETERS, Mo. – An investigation is underway after a driver fatally struck a pedestrian Wednesday morning in the parking lot of a gas station in St. Peters.
The collision happened around 10 a.m. outside a Mobil gas station in the 200 block of Mid Rivers Mall Drive.
The St. Peters Police Department reports that the victim, a man, was struck near the back of the parking lot. When first responders arrived at the scene, the victim was pronounced deceased.
St. Peters police say the driver, a woman, remained at the scene and has been cooperative with investigators.
Police have not yet disclosed the age or identity of the victim. Investigators are working to determine what led up to the collision.
