ROGERS, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Ozark United FC releases updated rendeings of its future stadium that reveal plans for a “sports-anchored entertainment district” in Northwest Arkansas.
According to a press release, the 36-acre development on West Perry Road and South Bellview Road in Rogers will include commercial, retail and residential spaces. The release says this will position the project “as a year-round live-work-play destination for the region.”
“The updated site plan reflects the club’s commitment to enhancing the matchday experience,
increasing accessibility and fostering long-term economic growth,” the release said.
The release says the project will provide opportunities for future expansion that aligns with national trends in professional sports where stadiums serve as catalysts for mixed-use development.
“Our goal has always been to create more than just a stadium; we want to build a lasting home
for soccer and a hub for community engagement,” said Chris Martinovic, co-founder of Ozark
United FC. “This district will provide fans, residents and visitors with an unparalleled experience
both on and off matchdays.”
The release says the club’s previous site lacked the size and infrastructure needed to support the broader fan experience. The expanded site allows for the addition of restaurants, breweries and other amenities.
“Sports-anchored entertainment districts are among the most exciting trends in stadium
development across the country,” said Warren Smith, co-founder of Ozark United FC. “We’re
listening to our fans and building something much bigger than a stadium—something that truly
reflects the spirit of Northwest Arkansas. It’s an honor to help create a place where people can
live, work, play, and come together around soccer and community.”
