Aging Partners invites adults age 60 and over to register to attend a dinner and show performance by the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) Bathtub Dogs a cappella group at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, April 10, at Auld Pavilion, 1650 Memorial Dr.
Cost is $16 and reservations are required by calling 402-441-7158. Round-trip van transportation available within the Lincoln city limits for an additional $5 fee. Reservations and payment are due by March 28. The dinner menu includes garlic herb chicken breast, oven-roasted potatoes, seasoned green beans, roll and assorted cookies.
When not in class, the UNL students who comprise the Bathtub Dogs perform on campus and throughout the state and region. They recently competed in the International Championship for Collegiate A Cappella in Scottsdale, Arizona; placing third in the semi-finals and winning the Best Choreography Award. Their recent release, “Late for the Sky,” is streaming on all music platforms.
