The Oakland Police Department hit the jackpot after raiding several illegal casinos within the city. Officers arrested nine people and seized over a dozen firearms after executing several search warrants as part of the Real-Time Operations Center task force:
The reason for the crackdown was an escalation of violence related to these criminal enterprises. Other items seized following the searches included illegal gambling machines and suspected meth.
