DENVER (KDVR) — The University of Colorado Boulder’s game against Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas will be featured on FOX’s Big Noon Kickoff on Saturday, Nov. 9.
The game will air live on FOX31. Kickoff is at 2 p.m. MST, while Big Noon Kickoff starts at 8 a.m.
The No. 21 Buffs will be coming off a bye week for the matchup against the Red Raiders, who are hot off a close 23-22 win against No. 17 Iowa State University.
Big Noon Kickoff has featured the Buffs four times since Deion Sanders took up the head coaching job last year. Boulder has hosted the show three times, while the Buffs were the visiting team once.
This will be the first time the team has been featured on the show this season.
This will also be the first time the teams have met on the field since 2010, when CU left the Big 12 for the Pac-12. The two teams have played 10 games against each other in the last 62 years. The Buffs have won five of these, while Texas Tech has won five.
Both teams have a clear home-field advantage, with both having a 4-1 record at their respective home stadiums.
The next time the teams will have a chance to square up against each other will be in 2026 when the Buffs will host Texas Tech at Folsom Field.
