MUNCIE, Ind. — A Muncie man is facing several felony charges after police say he allegedly molested a child.
Brandon Webster, 32, has been preliminarily charged with the following offenses:
- Child molest (level 1 felony)
- Child molest (level 1 felony)
- Child molest (level 1 felony)
- Child molest (level 1 felony)
- Child molest (level 1 felony)
- Child molest (level 1 felony)
- Child seduction (level 2 felony)
- Child seduction (level 3 felony)
- Child seduction (level 4 felony)
- Sexual misconduct with a minor (level 4 felony)
- Sexual misconduct with a minor (level 4 felony)
- Child seduction (level 5 felony)
- Contributing to the delinquency of a minor: Drugs (level 5 felony)
- Contributing to the delinquency of a minor: Alcohol (level 5 felony)
Court documents show that officers conducted a forensic interview with a minor who alleged that Webster had touched them inappropriately since they were 8 years old.
The sexual misconduct included various sex acts which allegedly escalated by the time the victim reached 12 years of age, court documents said.
The victim told investigators these encounters would often involve the use of alcohol or drugs, according to court documents.
Webster was detained and brought into custody on Nov. 2 for further questioning related to the case.
During his interview with law enforcement, court documents state that Webster allegedly admitted that he had engaged in several sex acts and that he had touched the victim inappropriately.
