A couple of San Diego-area freeways will experience temporary connector closures due to road work beginning this weekend, officials said today.
The southbound state Route 163 connector to Interstate 805 and the northbound I-805 connectors to northbound SR-163 will be closed from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Sunday through Thursday, according to Caltrans.
Officials advised the following detours:
— Southbound SR-163 to southbound I-805, continue on southbound SR-163 to eastbound Interstate 8 to southbound I-805;
— Northbound I-805 to northbound SR-163, from northbound I-805 exit onto eastbound Balboa Avenue to northbound SR-163.
