2025 has been a solid year for many WWE wrestlers, and whether it be younger stars on the rise or already experienced names who are still finding ways to get even better than they were before (or comparatively just better since their work over the last year), there are several wrestlers on the current day WWE roster who have experienced plenty of improvement.

10 Baffling WWE Creative Decisions They Already Made In 2025
The year 2025 might still be young, but WWE Chief Content Officer Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque has already made some baffling booking decisions.
These names will be assessed on a variety of different metrics, taking into account mic work, in-ring work, character performance, and even booking, to determine which WWE stars of 2025 have improved the most in recent months.
Lyra Valkyria
The Young Star Is Finding Her Feet In WWE
- Valkyria became the first women’s Intercontinental Champion
- She is holding together WWE’s midcard
- WWE sees big things for Valkyria
Lyra Valkyria has been on a consistent rise in WWE over the last couple of years, and in 2025 she has become even more of a success, reigning as the inaugural Women’s Intercontinental Champion.
Monday Night RAW featured Valkyria fairly often, and her matches in the midcard are some of the best parts of the women’s division in WWE today. She is still young but only getting better.
Karrion Kross
He Is Finally Settling On The WWE Main Roster
- Karrion Kross has struggled for years
- His character work is getting better
- Kross’ role in WWE finally feels like it is working
The main roster has been a tough place for Karrion Kross, but after years of failures, bad gimmicks, and a lack of heat, his recent “devil on the shoulder” character has been seeing him undergo serious improvements.
Kross looks way more comfortable in this role, his content is far better in quality than it has been in the past, and he is finally seeing some form of reaction from fans. 2025 could be Kross’ best year on the main roster to date.
DIY
A Heel Turn Helped DIY In WWE
- DIY were struggling for momentum as babyfaces
- They turned heel and reign as WWE Tag Team Champions
- In 2025, they have become a strong part of the tag team division
Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa have been pretty underwhelming since coming to the main roster, losing their star power from NXT and failing to stand out too much on RAW and SmackDown, particularly as babyfaces.
Coming into 2025 they were newly turned heels, and this has seen improvements on the character side of things for the pair, and they are finally beginning to get heat and are becoming a pillar of the SmackDown tag team division.
Carmelo Hayes
Hayes Is Improving Each And Every Week
- Hayes had a decent 2024
- He is getting plenty of TV time in 2025
- Hayes is growing more comfortable in WWE
Carmelo Hayes came to the main roster with high expectations, but he instead settled into the midcard in 2024. Even though Hayes has mostly been on the losing end of matches, he is being given a lot of TV time and opportunities on the mic, and it is safe to say that he is in fact improving by the week.

AEW has a great roster today, but not everyone is having a stellar year in 2025. Here are AEW’s wrestlers of the year, so far.
Hayes has been saddled with the fact that he makes others look good, so putting over other names on the roster might end up being his role for a while, but his improvements should not be ignored.
Liv Morgan
A Title Loss Has Helped Improve Morgan
- Being away from Rhea Ripley has been beneficial
- Morgan lost the Women’s World Title
- She has been a consistently entertaining part of the women’s division in 2025
Liv Morgan’s stock was falling during her title reign and never-ending feud with Rhea Ripley, but she has been much better off since losing the gold and being away from her former rival.
Morgan has been entertaining as a character and she has added a lot of star power and quality to the women’s tag team division. For someone as tenured as Morgan is now, to see her continue to improve must be music to the likes of Triple H.
Jacob Fatu
He Is Getting Better Every Appearance
- WWE are handing Fatu more spotlight
- His mic work is connecting with fans
- The audience is cheering him more as he improves
Jacob Fatu was already great when he came to WWE, but 2025 has been a whole different ball game for the Samoan Werewolf. Escaping the shadow of Solo Sikoa and engaging in feuds with himself as the spotlight has allowed Fatu to spread his wings and improve in a major way.
His promo work is unique and striking, his popularity is sky-rocketing, and with his current improvements it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him in the world title mix sooner rather than later.
Dominik Mysterio
Mysterio Is Improving So Much All The Time
- Mysterio is one of WWE’s most hated heels
- His character work grows by the week
- 2025 could be a breakout year
It feels like a repetitive thing to say, but as has been the case over the last five years, Dominik Mysterio has once again shown serious signs of improvement in both his mic work and in-ring ability, making a statement week in and week out, remaining hugely over as a heel in WWE.
Mysterio is well on his way to escaping his father’s legacy and establishing himself as his own star. His level of improvement and making the most of every second he has on screen will lead him to a lot of success in the future.
Chelsea Green
Green Is Growing As A Performer In 2025
- Green became the first US Champion
- Her character work has been on fire
- 2025 has seen her grow into a more well rounded star
Chelsea Green was handed a big task, being asked to establish the Women’s United States Title as the first ever champion, and she has certainly done a good job at doing that. Even with some questionable booking, Green has shown signs of improvement the more she is handed the spotlight on SmackDown, with her character being one of the most entertaining on any given show.
Her in-ring work hasn’t been entirely perfect, but overall Green has been an improved star in 2025 and big things are likely in her midst.
Tiffany Stratton
She Is Growing Under Intense Spotlight In WWE
- Stratton is still only young
- She cashed in her Money In The Bank
- She is holding herself well as world champion
Ever since she arrived in WWE, Tiffany Stratton has always been one of the most improved names. She is still relatively inexperienced, but she is now the WWE Women’s Champion, thriving under the major spotlight and holding her own as a singles star.

Bron Breakker
Breakker Is Making Himself A Hot Commodity In WWE
- Breakker has grown even more in 2025
- His reign as IC Champion has been dominant
- The audience are connecting strongly with Breakker
Bron Breakker is getting better at a scarily quick pace, shining in the ring, on the mic, and as a man who can connect with ease to the WWE audience. He was clearly a star from day one, but his improvements have made it even more confirmed that he is a future world champion.
He has been given way more time to shine in 2025, main eventing RAW and battling a variety of stars for the Intercontinental Championship, not putting a foot wrong in the process.
