CHICAGO (WGN) — Chicago police seek the public’s help in locating a missing 17-year-old boy who the department says walked away from his Avondale-area home last night and has not been seen since.
Danyel Mazin was last seen Tuesday, March 17, in the 5100 block of W. Oakdale Avenue, walking westbound towards Laramie around 7:30 p.m.
Police say Danyel is 5-foot-6-inches, weighs 140 pounds, is Hispanic, has a medium complexion, black hair, and brown eyes. CPD added that Danyel had good school attendance but did not attend on Wednesday.

According to police, Danyel may have a female friend who lives in Joliet.
Danyel was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, black shorts, and black Crocs. Police added that he may not have his cell phone or any identification. Anyone with information on Danyel’s whereabouts should call (312) 746-6554.
