NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The Mayor’s Neighborhood Engagement Office is hosting the city’s fourth annual turkey giveaway on Monday, Nov. 25.
According to city officials, the giveaway will be happening at the Central City Senior Center, located at 2101 Philip St. The giveaway is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m., and residents are encouraged to walk or drive up at Philip Street and Oretha Castle Haley Boulevard to get their turkey.
One turkey will be provided per household until supplies last. Both turkeys and fixings will be available on a first-come first-served basis.
