NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Santa isn’t the only one stopping in New Orleans this holiday season. A holiday pop-up bar by the “Queen of Christmas” Mariah Carey is heading to Virgin Hotels New Orleans.
According to a news release, Black Irish by Mariah Carey is teaming up with Virgin Hotels to bring a Black Irish Holiday Bar to five cities, including the Big Easy, from Nov. 15 to Dec. 29.
Carey fans and Christmas lovers can head to Virgin Hotels New Orleans for a pop-up bar that is reportedly set to include an interactive photo booth, a Black Irish Christmas tree, a letters to Mariah station and signature cocktails.
Some of the cocktails featuring Black Irish Irish Cream include an espresso martini with a candy cane rim, a martini flight and a cocoa coffee.
Additionally, attendees can expect photo opportunities including an “All I Want for Christmas is You” neon sign, a lyric wall and a wreath “to recreate the iconic album cover from Mariah Carey’s Magical Christmas Special.”
According to Virgin Hotels, the pop-up bar experience comes as part of a celebration of the 30th anniversary of Carey’s iconic Christmas song “All I Want for Christmas is You.”
Virgin Hotels officials said that the New Orleans experience will take place from Monday through Sunday with slots available between 4 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. For more information, visit the event website.
