
MUNFORDVILLE, Ky. – A man is facing wanton endangerment, fleeing police charges following a high-speed pursuit.
Kentucky State Police Public Affairs Officer Trooper Katan Parker says a vehicle pursuit was initiated at 9:41 pm on Thursday.
Parker says a trooper observed a white vehicle driving at a high rate of speed on I65 South at the 71-mile marker.
The pursuit was over after the suspect drove onto exit 30 and turned onto Glasgow Road.
The suspect is identified as Donyale Straughter, 44.
Troopers arrested Straughter and transported him to the Hart County Jail.
Straughter is charged with fleeing or evading police (motor vehicle), speed 26 mph or greater, reckless driving, wanton endangerment 1st, dui, poss of drug paraphernalia, criminal mischief, and other traffic offenses.
