Beginning Saturday, April 5, 2025, Loudoun County Transit bus services will be increasing local bus service on Saturdays, adding new service on Sunday for some local routes, and extending Sunday hours for paratransit services. Expanded fare-free bus service will reach stops in Leesburg, Ashburn, Sterling, Sugarland Run, Countryside, the Innovation Center Metrorail station and Dulles Town Center.
This expansion will be added to Loudoun County’s Transit’s local bus service, which includes 30 fare-free bus routes operating from Hamilton through Leesburg into Sterling with connections to four Silver Line Metrorail stations. The Board of Supervisors approved the additional service during the Board’s May 29, 2024, Transit Summit (PDF) to increase transit accessibility for Loudoun County residents.
