Lincoln City Libraries and the Lied Center for Performing Arts today invited families to a Lied Center Page to Stage event Friday, November 15. The free Little Mermaid storytime will be from 10:15 to 11 a.m. at Bennett Martin Public Library, 136 S. 14th St.
The presentation will include mermaid-themed stories and crafts, and appearances by some of Ariel’s mer-sisters.
The Page to Stage programs features special events coordinated with performances appearing at the Lied Center, including visits from Lied Center artists, special storytime guests, curated reading lists, and giveaways. Specific dates for the 2025 performance season will be announced closer to the performance dates. The event schedule is as follows:
- January 2025 – Goodnight Moon and The Runaway Bunny
- February 2025 – Moulin Rouge! The Musical
- February 2025 – 123 Andrés
- March 2025 – Beetlejuice
“There’s a special magic that happens when children get to interact with the performers who bring their favorite stories to life on stage,” said Lauren Silverman Durban, Lied Center Communications Manager. “Even small interactions can spark big dreams, and we can’t wait to bring some mermaid magic to storytime.”
Disney’s The Little Mermaid is playing at the Lied Center through Sunday, November 17.
