Marcus’ 4 a.m. Thursday forecast
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Rainfall amounts will be less than 0.10″ in most locations.
This morning:
We are off to a quiet start this morning with clouds increasing ahead of a cold front that is now positioned in Illinois. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are noted back to our west in Illinois.

Friday:
A cold front will pass through the state for the morning and early afternoon hours, sparking scattered light showers and even a rumble of thunder at times. Showers should diminish as we head into the afternoon hours as the front passes into Ohio.

Unfortunately, rainfall amounts will be light, with likely less than a 10th of an inch of rainfall expected around the state.

High temperatures will top out in the lower 70s this afternoon.

Friday night:
Skies will gradually clear as we head into the overnight hours with cooler temperatures expected. Low temperatures will fall to the mid-40s.

This weekend:
Canadian high pressure will settle in for the weekend, leaving us cooler but sunny and quiet. High temperatures will top out into the mid-60s on Saturday.

Areas of frost will be likely Saturday night with a clear sky and lows falling to the low to mid 30s.

Sunday looks to be beautiful with sunny skies and highs into the lower 60s.
Next week:
Another warming trend is on tap for much of next week, with highs returning to the 70s on Monday and possibly pushing close to 80° for Tuesday and Wednesday with breezy conditions. There are some signs that we could see some scattered showers moving in for Halloween on Thursday.
