LAPD pursues fleeing Maserati near West Adams

Authorities are pursuing the driver of a fleeing Maserati near West Adams Tuesday afternoon.

The Los Angeles Police Department said the driver is wanted for alleged domestic violence and assault with a deadly weapon.

The pursuit began just before 12:30 p.m., though the pursuit remains a “fluid situation,” said Officer Jader Chaves.

Though speeds have remained relatively low, the Maserati driver has weaved into oncoming traffic and used alleyways and parking lots in an attempt to evade police.
