NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Officers with the New Orleans Police Department are investigating after multiple people were shot in the St. Roch area on Sunday, Nov. 17.
The NOPD reported that at least eight victims were identified in the shooting. NOPD officials said the call came in around 4 p.m.
Information is limited at this time, however, NOPD officers said that the investigation is being classified as an aggravated battery by shooting and a homicide by shooting.
