The December 14th edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event in Uniondale, New York, promises to be a star-studded show and WWE is reportedly planning to bring in several names that were iconic with the show during its heyday. Among the names speculated to appear, the buzz is picking up that “The Immortal” Hulk Hogan may be among the legends on hand.
Trusted Source Says WWE Is Thinking About Having Hogan Appear
According to WrestleVotes Radio, WWE is considering a major tribute to the inaugural 1985 Saturday Night’s Main Event. The report mentions discussions about bringing back participants from that historic night, including Wendi Richter, who famously defeated The Fabulous Moolah, and Hulk Hogan, who headlined the event with a victory over “Cowboy” Bob Orton to retain the WWF Championship.
Adding fuel to the speculation that Hogan is likely to show up, Jimmy Hart—longtime manager to Hogan—is already confirmed for the show. Those two have been lifelong friends and still are to this day. Hart’s inclusion has sparked talk that Hogan could also appear, especially since WWE recently featured him in promotional material for an upcoming event in San Antonio. If WWE is advertising him for ticket sales, it seems logical to assume they have no issue with him showing up on a show he helped make famous.
