Belo Horizonte (dpa) – Germany’s Economics Minister Robert Habeck wants to bring about a new dawn in German-Brazilian relations. “After the election, Brazil made a clear commitment to placing sustainability, but also democracy, the rule of law and human rights, right at the top of the political agenda,” he said at a press conference with Vice President Geraldo Alckmin during the German-Brazilian Economic Meeting. Habeck had previously talked about a “green bridge” across the Atlantic and said that Brazil is already strong in the area of renewable energies and has great potential when it comes to hydrogen production.
