SLIDELL, La. (WGNO) — HARK! WGNO was once again on the road to Slidell to bring in the Christmas spirit.
Crews are in Griffith Park for the 36th annual Christmas under the stars.
Mr. and Mrs. Claus were in person checking the list twice and handing out candy canes to all of the good girls and boys and moms and dads.
All ye faithful are invited to come out and partake in the festivities to gander at the mining cottages decorated in true Christmas fashion with your favorite holiday characters including Mickey, Minnie, Olaf, and the gang, Jack and Sally and even The Grinch.
From Dec. 6 to Dec. 7 families can come be car or by sleigh to O Little Town of Slidell to get their hearts delight of the light displays and of the Slidell High School choir singing tunes “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen,” “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” and “Jingle Bells.”
The event is free and bringing joy to the world.
