According to an obituary posted by Yeager Funeral Home, a mass was held Saturday at 11 a.m. at St Patrick’s Catholic Church to honor the life and achievements of Sgt. Roque during her enlistment. A burial ceremony took place at a Ligonier cemetery, where the full military rites were rendered.
The family requested, via the West Noble American Legion Facebook page, that no photos be taken of the service and to “delete any photos taken or posts uploaded.” Media was requested not to attend to give respect to the family.
