ST. TAMMANY PARISH, La. (WGNO) — Officials with the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office have announced funeral arrangements for the recently deceased Sergeant Grant Candies.
The service will be at the Harbor Center in Slidell on Tuesday, April 1.
Visitation begins at 10:00 a.m., the funeral starts at 1:00 p.m. and a procession will follow.
Candies was reportedly killed in a car chase incident which occurred on Sunday, March 23. To support his family during this difficult time, members of the community have come together to help.
Additionally, a GoFundMe has been arranged to assist the sergeant’s wife and children further.
