LEXINGTON, Ky. – Wednesday evening, the Franklin-Simpson girls’ basketball team took to the court in Rupp Arena for the first time in 16 years, facing off with George Rogers Clark, but after a hard-fought effort, the team’s season came to a close as the Lady Cardinals had the upper hand 64-42.
Head Coach Ashley Taylor and the Lady Cats finished the season going 28-3, winning the 4th Region Tournament, and leaving a legacy as one of the top squads the program has ever had.
