HUNTLEY, Ill. — A McHenry County man is facing a handful of felony charges after he was allegedly found to be in possession of child pornography.
Jordan Hein, a 25-year-old Huntley resident, has been charged with five counts of possession of child pornography depicting a victim under the age of 13.
Hein’s charges were handed down after officers from the Huntley police department received a tip from the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force back in February about an unidentified internet subscriber who was possibly in possession of child pornography.

Further investigation into the tip led the Huntley Police Department’s Investigations Division to Hein.
On Wednesday, authorities executed a search warrant at Hein’s home and seized several electronic devices. The devices were later examined by investigators from the Office of the Illinois Attorney General and Huntley detectives.
Hein was then taken into custody based on evidence that was allegedly obtained during the examination of the electronics.
Following his arrest, Hein was taken to the McHenry County Jail, where he remained pending a detention hearing.
