NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Tulane Football is a family affair.
Especially for the Dunbars.
That’s Corey Dunbar and his 14-year-old son Cooper.
“Our tradition before every game is that we’re always out here throwing the ball before the game after the game. We’ve been doing it since he was 2 years old. It’s our family tradition and something we love to do,” said Corey.
Cooper is a Freshman at Jesuit High School in New Orleans and Corey is a graduate of Tulane Law School.
“So it’s really the culture, the fans and the environment in the stadium. He went to college there so it’s a big impact on me and he’s been taking me to games since back when they played in the Superdome,” said Corey.
WGNO Good Morning New Orleans features reporter Bill Wood is with the Dunbars getting ready for some Tulane Football.
They have front-row, season tickets for Tulane home football games.
The Dunbars will be watching WGNO on Friday, Dec. 7 at 7 p.m. as Tulane travels to Army to play the 2024 American Athletic Conference Championship Game.
It’s the Green Wave playing the Black Knights.
