ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – He had schools like Duke and Kentucky interested in his services. Former University of New Mexico guard Donovan Dent chose his home state of California in the end, deciding to go to UCLA for his senior season.
Dent made the announcement on his Instagram page Friday night. Dent averaged 20.4 points and 6.5 assists per game this past season while leading the Lobos to a Mountain West regular season championship. Dent also helped the Lobos reach the NCAA Tournament for a second consecutive year. The Lobos reached the round of 32 before being defeated by Michigan State.
