The San Marcos Sheriff’s Station on Wednesday continued to investigate a hit-and-run collision that left a teenager riding an e-bike seriously injured.
Deputies found that at around 9 p.m. Tuesday, near the intersection of W. Mission Road and Knoll Road, a pickup truck struck the teen, who was taken to the hospital.
The pickup truck fled the scene of the collision. It is described as a lifted 2019-2021 white GMC Sierra truck with front end damage, including a broken headlamp, fender and antenna.
