(KRON) — The Alameda County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO) is asking for the public’s help to solve a 22-year-old cold case where a 22-year-old man was killed in a drive-by shooting.
The sheriff’s office said on March 28, 2003, at about 12:40 a.m., Angelo Ravella was being driven home by a friend when an unknown suspect shot into the passenger side of the vehicle, murdering him.

Deputies said the suspect’s vehicle was described as a “dark colored mid to full size car, similar to a 1980’s vintage Cadillac.” The car may have contained four to five people at the time and was last seen speeding southbound on Via Chiquita in San Lorenzo, according to ACSO.
The suspect was described as a Caucasian or Hispanic male, between 18 to 25 years old, wearing a black beanie cap with possible facial hair.
Anyone with information on the case is urged to speak with Cold Case Homicide Unit investigators at (510) 667-3661. Witnesses can also submit anonymous tips at (510) 667-3622.
