Capri Sun has launched its first-ever glow-in-the-dark pouch, known as Moon Pouch, in honor of the upcoming Total Lunar Eclipse.
The Total Lunar Eclipse, also known as a Blood Moon, occurs when the Earth is fully positioned between the sun and the moon. The rare event will be visible to North Americans on Friday, March 14.
Each Moon Pouch will feature cherry-flavored juice and be designed after a different moon phase.

In honor of the event, fans can scan the moon through Snapchat during the eclipse for an exclusive chance to obtain the special-edition pouches. Lunar eclipses of this nature can typically be seen once every 2.5 years.
“Whether you grew up drinking from the iconic pouch or are one of the millions of kids who name Capri Sun as their favorite drink, we strive to create moments of fun and discovery, helping to unleash peak kid energy with every poke of the straw,” said Jessica Barker, senior brand manager, brand communications at Capri Sun.
“Playing off the iconic brand name, we’re looking from the sun to the moon for the very first time! Moon Punch is here, and it’s glowing.”
Moon Punch is available for a limited time at Amazon, Walmart, Target, and Kroger, among other retailers.
